Principal AMy Gerling Headshot

Introducing the our new Cloverly Principal, Amy Gerling

Dear Cloverly Families,

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I welcome you to the new school year as the Principal of Cloverly Elementary School. I am truly honored to join this incredible community and sincerely appreciate the trust you place in us each day to support your children's academic, social, emotional, and physical growth.

Over the past couple of weeks, I have had the pleasure of working alongside our office staff, custodial team, media center staff, and district personnel as we prepare for another outstanding year. Every decision we make is centered on creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where every child feels valued, challenged, and inspired to learn.

As we prepare for the first day of school, I wanted to share a few important reminders:

  • School supply lists are now available on the Cloverly website, under the “For Parents” tab. We encourage families to review the lists and gather supplies before the start of school.
  • Round Up will be held on Tuesday, August 5, with two opportunities for families to attend: 1:00–3:00 p.m. and 4:00–6:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit campus, sign up for PTA, purchase Spirit Wear(t-shirts and hoodies), get class assignments, turn in important paperwork, get Raptored for on-site events like Lunch on the Lawn, and get ready for the new school year.
  • Back-to-School Night and our first PTA meeting will take place on Wednesday, August 13, here at Cloverly. We warmly invite every family to attend. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child's teacher, learn about the year ahead, connect with other families, and discover ways to become involved in our Cloverly Community.

At Cloverly, we believe that the strongest schools are built through meaningful partnerships between home and school. Together, we can create an environment where every student is supported, encouraged, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.

My door is always open, and I hope you'll introduce yourself when you see me on campus. Whether it's at drop-off, Round Up, Back-to-School Night, or one of our many school events, I look forward to getting to know each of our Cloverly families. Together, we'll make this a year filled with kindness, learning, growth, and joyful memories.

Thank you for welcoming me into the Cloverly Family. I am looking forward to getting to know each of you and working together to make this an exceptional school year for our students.

I can't wait to see you at Round Up and Back-to-School Night!

Warmly,

Mrs. Amy Gerling
