Cloverly Elementary School Birthday Treat Policy
At Cloverly Elementary, we love celebrating our students’ special days! To ensure that classroom learning remains uninterrupted while still allowing students (if they wish) to share a small treat with their classmates, we have established the following birthday treat guidelines:
- No Birthday Parties in Class – Classroom time will not be used for birthday celebrations, decorations, or party activities.
- Small, Individual Treats Only – If students would like to, students may bring a small treat, such as a mini cupcake or a cookie, to share with their classmates. No treat bags, drinks, or large items will be permitted.
- Independent Distribution – Treats must be passed out by the birthday child during recess or afterschool without teacher or adult assistance.
- Allergy Awareness – Parents are encouraged to consider food allergies when selecting treats and may check with the teacher in advance regarding any classroom allergy concerns. All items should be store-bought, not homemade.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping birthday celebrations simple, fun, and respectful of our learning environment
